Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sustained an elbow injury while filming ‘The Smashing Machine.’

In the movie directed by Benny Safdie, the 52-year-old actor reprised his role as real-life mixed-martial-arts fighter Mark Kerr, experiencing some rough action along the way, he disclosed.

On June 11, the former wrestler-turned-actor, who has encountered numerous work-related injuries in the past, announced in an Instagram video that he injured his right elbow during the production of the sports biopic.

"As you guys know, I’m filming a movie called The Smashing Machine,” the star said, before pointing out the obvious correlation: “And anytime your film is called The Smashing Machine, well, you’re kind of going to get smashed up.”

The actor has not yet gotten an MRI, so he is not sure how bad the damage is yet — but assured fans that he is “all good.”

Johnson added, “The pain feels pretty good.”

‘The Smashing Machine’ is expected to release in December.
