Two ANF personnel, private employee killed in Jhelum shootout
A shootout between the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and armed car riders resulted in the deaths of two ANF personnel and a private employee near Jhelum on GT Road, Express News reported.
The incident occurred near Kala Pul on GT Road when an ANF team attempted to stop a suspicious car. The car’s occupants opened fire on the ANF team, leading to the immediate deaths of Head Constable Gulzar and Constable Mazhar. A private employee, Zeeshan, was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

he three suspects managed to escape into a nearby forest while firing. Police and a large contingent of ANF personnel have launched a search operation along GT Road to locate the suspects.
An ANF spokesperson reported that a car driver named Shehzad has been arrested. In his initial statement, Shehzad claimed that a person named Bilal from Kharian had booked his car.
The search for the remaining suspects continues as authorities intensify their efforts to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
