Shopkeepers warned to adhere to price lists

The district administration has directed the authorities concerned that outlets and shopkeepers must display rate list of products.

Business outlets, traders and shopkeepers have been made bound to display rate list of all products under rules and regulations.

“Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005 provides protection to consumers. They have a right to check rate list of the products before purchasing them,” District Consumer Protection Council Bahawalpur, Zeenat Mazhar she said.
