Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly "worried sick" about the possibility of being "kicked out" of the United States if Donald Trump wins the upcoming presidential election.

Trump has previously suggested he would consider revoking Harry's visa, potentially forcing the Duke of Sussex to return to the UK.

This concern comes after scrutiny of Harry's visa application following revelations about his drug use in his memoir, Spare.

A source told New Idea, "The Sussexes are worried sick over the prospect of Donald Trump becoming president again - and making good on his vow to kick Prince Harry out of America."

Trump has vowed to take "appropriate action" if Harry lied on his visa application. In an interview with Nigel Farage back in March, Trump said, "We'll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they'll have to take appropriate action."

However, the idea of returning to the UK is "unthinkable" for Meghan, according to New Idea Magazine.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk that Meghan is "deeply unpopular" in the UK and would likely stay away due to the ongoing royal rift. Fitzwilliams added, "She was wise not to stray beyond Heathrow en route to Nigeria, after Harry went to the St Paul’s commemorative service for Invictus."
