Rick Ross to auction his exclusive collection of street and contemporary art
Rick Ross, the influential figure in music and entrepreneurship at 48, is teaming up with Julien's Auctions to auction off his exclusive collection of street and contemporary art, limited edition sneakers, designer clothing, music artifacts, and other valuable items.
The proceeds from this auction, named Push It to the Limit–Luxury & Lifestyle: A Rick Ross Auction, will go towards supporting the Boss Up Grant. This initiative aims to assist underserved entrepreneurs who face challenges in accessing affordable credit and capital.
Included in the auction are over 300 rare sneakers, with a notable collection of more than 150 pairs of Air Jordans, alongside memorabilia related to Michael Jackson.
The auction spans two days, beginning on June 25th at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Bidders have the option to participate online through Julien's Auctions, attend in person in Los Angeles, or place bids over the phone by dialing 310-836-1818.
Among the Michael Jackson memorabilia are items such as a sealed ONE by Cirque du Soleil light-up glove, a sealed Bad 25th anniversary vinyl, and a grand piano from 1866 themed around the Thriller album by William Knabe & Co.
The fashion items and menswear selections feature designs from renowned brands like Gucci, Stefano Ricci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace. Many of these pieces were worn by Ross himself during television appearances and music videos.
The sneaker collection comprises collaborations with Virgil Abloh, Nike Air Max 90s, as well as Air Jordans, including the Retro University of Michigan PE and 5 Retro Fab Five models.
