Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's last friends in the Royal Family were recently seen supporting Prince William, having reportedly distanced themselves from the Sussexes.

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, who have long been friends with Harry, were seen supporting Prince William, having allegedly "turned their backs" on the Sussexes.

Despite Eugenie's visit to Harry and Meghan's US home in 2022, the York sisters recently attended a Buckingham Palace garden party to support Prince William as he continues royal duties while Princess Kate recovers from cancer treatment.

Eugenie shared her support on Instagram, writing to her 1.8 million followers: "Come rain or shine, I was delighted to support my family yesterday."

According to the Daily Express, Eugenie, 34, and Beatrice, 35, have taken on more royal responsibilities since the King was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. An insider told the Daily Express, "Bea and Eugenie can't imagine what William is going through right now, and it was an honour for them to give him some support. The York sisters were determined not to let him down."

The insider added that the sisters are "overjoyed" to take on a more prominent role in the family, with Beatrice being considered "flawless" recently. However, Eugenie was reportedly on an "unofficial blacklist" after hosting Harry and Meghan at her Portugal home last year.

The source also mentioned that Eugenie did not reach out to Harry during her visit to LA in February, confirming his fears that his last connection to the family was severed. Neither Eugenie nor Beatrice has contacted Harry this year, as "everyone's focus is on getting Kate and William through this crisis."
