RHONJ’s Dina Manzo celebrates ex-husband Tommy’s conviction
Dina Manzo, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is marking the arrest of her ex-husband Tommy Manzo, who allegedly hired a mobster to assault her current husband, David Cantin.
Manzo has firmly expressed her disinterest in rejoining the franchise, emphasizing her contentment with life in Los Angeles, a significant distance from her ex-husband, Tommy Manzo, and her sister, Caroline Manzo.
Tommy Manzo was found guilty, and Dina Manzo responds by celebrating
Back in 2015, David was attacked by John Perna, a member of the Lucchese mob family, in a strip mall parking lot in New Jersey.
Allegedly, Tommy compensated John by offering him a discounted wedding at The Brownstone, the venue owned by Tommy and Caroline's husband, Albert Manzo.
Previously, Tommy managed to have the case dismissed by contending that his rights under the Speedy Trial Act had been breached. The judge opted to dismiss the case without prejudice. However, the charges were subsequently refiled shortly thereafter.
Currently, Tommy has been found guilty of altering and hiding documents, participating in a conspiracy, and committing a violent crime to support racketeering activities.
He could potentially serve a maximum sentence of 46 years in prison, along with a $500,000 fine. His sentencing is scheduled for October 15, 2024.
Dina Manzo and her husband David Cantin finally get justice
At last, Dina could relish the justice she sought. She commemorated the moment with an Instagram post, featuring a photo of her raising her arms towards the sky.
