Numerous fans have gotten engaged during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, though it is uncommon for the ‘Tortured Poets Department’ singer to witness these moments herself.

In a unique turn of events, the 34-year-old singer had a prime view of Edinburgh fans becoming engaged during her concert on Friday, June 7, thanks to Scotland's late sunset. Amidst the performance of ‘Cardigan,’ two fans chose to make a commitment to each other, and Swift had the privilege of witnessing the heartfelt moment firsthand.

“I love performing this entire show in the sunlight because I’m pretty sure I saw somebody get engaged over here,” Swift said, gesturing to a fan in the floor section who popped the question to her girlfriend. “Did it happen? Yes!”

The ‘Lover’ singer continued, “You have no idea [how excited I am]. I never get to see that, because it’s, like, dark usually at night, but it’s not right now. So, congratulations, wow! I just saw that whole thing. Man, that’s amazing.”

Swift launched her Eras Tour in March 2023, and throughout the shows, numerous fans have opted to propose to their partners. It has become a common occurrence for concert attendees to drop to one knee during songs like ‘Love Story’ or ‘Champagne Problems,’ coinciding with the lyrics that reference engagements or weddings.
