Handicraft Segment: Delegation returns from India
The delegates were headed by LCCI Executive Committee Member elect Nabila Intisar.
LAHORE:
A 14-member Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) women delegation related to the handicraft sector returned from a three-day visit to India. The delegates, headed by LCCI Executive Committee Member elect Nabila Intisar, met their counterparts at PHD Chamber of Commerce and All Handicrafts and Home Furnishing Development Association. Both sides discussed in detail ways and means to expedite and promote handicrafts’ trade between the two counties. The delegation also visited Central Cottage Industries Emporium and World Gift Expo at Pargati Maidan in Delhi. World Punjabi Organisation also hosted a dinner in honour of the delegation which was also attended by Pakistan High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik among others.
