Kim Kardashian celebrates 43rd birthday with Ivanka Trump and Lauren Sanchez on 'The Kardashians'
Kim Kardashian kept fans guessing about her inner circle during the latest episode of "The Kardashians," revealing surprising additions to her 'ride-or-die' crew at her 43rd birthday celebration.
The reality TV star celebrated in style at Funke in Beverly Hills, a party hosted by her sister Khloe Kardashian.
Among the first to arrive were Ivanka Trump, the 42-year-old daughter of former President Donald Trump, and Lauren Sanchez, the 54-year-old fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Their prime seating at Kim's table highlighted their newfound importance in Kim's friendship group. Ivanka sat on Kim's right-hand side, while Lauren was two seats down.
Kim, dazzling in a red dress with cut-outs, was also flanked by her lifelong friend Allison Statter, who she affectionately calls a 'lifer.'
The presence of Ivanka and Lauren indicates their close bond with Kim, cultivated over the years through shared interests and initiatives, such as prison reform projects with Ivanka.
Ivanka and Kim’s friendship dates back several years, with the pair having worked together on prison reform.
In 2018, they posed for photos at the White House as Kim petitioned then-President Trump to commute the life sentence of Alice Marie Johnson.
Lauren and Kim have also formed a close bond, often seen dining together with Lauren's fiancé, Jeff Bezos.
The party was filled with Kim's closest family and friends. Her sister Kendall Jenner arrived in a leopard print bodysuit, fresh from a campaign shoot.
Hailey Bieber also made an appearance, hugging Kim as she entered. Kim expressed her gratitude, saying, "It makes me feel so good that everyone wanted to come out and celebrate and have dinner with us."
Guests enjoyed playful elements like masks featuring different looks of Kim.
Kris Jenner proposed a heartfelt toast, praising Kim's ability to gather her old and new friends. Kim followed with her own speech, acknowledging her 'lifers' and 'ride or die' friends who have kept her secrets over the years.
"At least everyone here has known one crazy secret about me and it's never gotten out," Kim said, with Kimora Lee Simmons adding, "And vice versa!"
The party saw the arrival of Kylie Jenner, who despite being late due to a photoshoot, was warmly welcomed.
"I had a photoshoot. I'm not just late because I'm late," Kylie explained, adding in confession, "I'm here, so now the party can start."
The celebration culminated with a group photo of the Kardashian sisters, as Kim reflected on her birthday wish.
"I think I have everything I could possibly want and need. I think I've gotten there and that I have a feeling like I know what's really important in life," she said.
