Unstoppable Chahat Fateh Ali Khan announces 'Bado Badi 2' days after YouTube copyright strike
Days after his viral hit Bado Badi mysteriously vanished from YouTube, Pakistani-British singer and internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is back with a bang, announcing a sequel featuring a "new and stunning" model. This news has left fans both amused and intrigued.
In a recent YouTube video, Chahat, known for his quirky singing and comedic flair, thanked his fans from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Proudly recounting his prolific output from the last two years, he revealed there are surprisingly 35 in number with almost 17 big hits. He hinted at an exciting lineup of upcoming projects, including a film, songs, and Bado Badi 2.
Regarding the future projects, he revealed, “I have several projects ready to go. I’m making a movie called Sabaq, which you can watch on my YouTube channel. Alongside that, I’ll be dropping six new songs, and yes, Bado Badi 2 is in the works. You’ll spot a new and stunning model in it. I’ll also be collaborating with new talent; many people are eager to work with me now. Thanks, everyone.”
For those unversed in Chahat lore, Bado Badi skyrocketed to 23 million views in record time before being pulled down, allegedly due to copyright claims related to the original song by legendary Pakistani singer Noor Jehan for the film Banarsi Thug. Fans were unsurprised by this, as it was widely known that Chahat’s version was a playful homage to Noor Jehan’s classic.
