Taylor Swift's remarkable success in the music industry has set her apart in a league of her own, a fact acknowledged by her peers.

Prior to her trio of performances in Edinburgh, Scotland, starting on Friday, June 7, various fellow artists have commented on the ‘Swift effect’ that has enthralled countless fans during her ongoing sold-out Eras Tour and throughout her career.

U.K. pop singer-songwriter RAYE told BBC News about Swift, “She is just one of those rare timeless artists who gets it right every time.” He added, “She’s an absolute powerhouse.”

Lana Del Rey, collaborator and close friend of the ‘Bad Blood’ singer, shared her perspective on the icon's achievements, saying, "She wants it.”

“She’s told me so many times that she wants it more than anyone,” said the ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer. “And how amazing - she’s getting exactly what she wants. She’s driven, and I think it’s really paid off.”

Del Rey and Swift have been friends since they met at the 2012 MTV EMAs.

The ‘Say Yes To Heaven’ singer has been a direct witness to Swift’s massive pop culture era, as the pair collaborated on their track ‘Snow on the Beach’ off the latter’s 2022 album Midnights.
