However, despite their spirited off-field performance, the Omani team has faced challenges on the cricket pitch as they have suffered defeats in their first two matches of the tournament.

In their opening match, Oman endured a nail-biting loss to Namibia in a thrilling super over. Their second match saw them facing a 39-run defeat against Australia.
