ODI World Cup 2007: Ireland beat Pakistan by 3 wickets
During the 2007 ODI World Cup match at Sabina Park in Jamaica on March 17, 2007, Pakistan could only manage to score 132 runs for the loss of 10 wickets against Ireland. Inzamam-ul-Haq led the Pakistan team, and despite setting a modest target of 133 runs, Ireland chased it down in 41.4 overs for the loss of seven wickets, knocking Pakistan out of the tournament in the group stage.
T20 World Cup 2022: Pakistan lost by 1 run against Zimbabwe
In their second group match of the 2022 T20 World Cup, Pakistan faced a heart-wrenching defeat by one run against Zimbabwe in Perth on October 27, 2022. Despite restricting Zimbabwe to 130 for 8 in 20 overs, Pakistan couldn't chase down the target and finished the game at 129 for 8 in 20 overs.
ODI World Cup 2023: Afghanistan beat Pakistan by 8 wickets
In the 2023 ODI World Cup match at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 23, 2023, Afghanistan outperformed the Babar Azam-led Pakistan team by 8 wickets. Pakistan posted a challenging total of 282 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs.
