Kim Kardashian reveals shocking struggles as a single mom: I Have No Support!
Kim Kardashian has opened up about the difficulties she faces raising her four children without much support. The reality star, 43, shares North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with her ex-husband Kanye West.
In a recent episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians" titled "This Is Going to be Really Hot Tea," Kim candidly discussed her challenges while en route to jury duty. She called a friend and expressed her struggles managing her household and children.
Kim said “I just… anything in that home is just chaotic right now. Oh my God, no, what I wanted to say was I had a Zoom at the house with all my kids there, banging on the door, just screaming, and I was literally hiding in a bathroom with the door locked as I was just like, I can't believe this.”
“This is so hard for me this week in that area,” Kim continued. “Managing four kids and a household where they’re like not getting and they all want different things and I’m only one person. I always say, ‘OK guys, do you want me to just cut myself in halves or in fours and a part will go with you and a part will go with you.’ And they like look at me like, ‘No don’t ever do that!’”
Kim admitted she often feels like a “pushover” and wishes she could be “strict” like her sister Khloe Kardashian. “I took her phone after a day I gave it to her, I’m such a pushover, but I took it for 24 hours,” she added.
This revelation comes after Kim and Kanye reunited on their 10th wedding anniversary to watch their daughter North perform as Young Simba at The Hollywood Bowl. Despite their divorce, finalized in November 2022, Kim and Kanye have worked towards maintaining an amicable relationship for the sake of their children.
A source told Us Weekly that the pair have "really overcome those challenges" and are now "able to communicate in a mature manner." The insider added, "Kim and Kanye may not always see eye to eye, but they have managed an amicable relationship based solely on their kids."
