A humorous incident occurred during the ICC T20 World Cup photoshoot involving Pakistan's cricket team’s star fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi.

During a photoshoot, Afridi was asked to pose with a poster that labelled him solely as a “bowler”. This designation did not sit well with Afridi, who considers himself an “all-rounder”.

Afridi formally registered his grievance with the ICC media team, highlighting the importance of recognising his all-rounder status.

Pakistan is gearing up to launch their T20 World Cup campaign against an eager USA team in Dallas today, despite encountering some preparatory setbacks.

The Pakistani squad's training sessions have been hampered by inclement weather, with rain disrupting two crucial practice sessions. This has posed a significant challenge to their preparations ahead of the match.

The match is scheduled for 8:30pm PST at Grand Prairie Stadium. Fortunately, weather conditions during the match are expected to be ideal. According to weather.com, Thursday morning will be bright, clear, and sunny, with temperatures expected to soar to around 35°C in Dallas.
