Miranda Derrick, a TikTok star, has broken her silence on allegations that she was involved in an alleged cult.

Miranda Derrick, a TikTok star, has broken her silence on allegations that she was involved in an alleged cult. In a statement, Derrick refuted claims made by her family and others that she was part of the 7M organisation, the subject of the Netflix docuseries Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult.

In her Instagram Stories, Derrick thanked her supporters and stated that she would not go into too much detail due to legal purposes. However, she wanted to share her side of the story after the series premiered on May 29.

She also addressed her family's claims that she was in a cult, saying, "I love my Mom, Dad, and Melanie, and they will forever be a part of my life. The truth is, we just don't see eye to eye at this time. I believe that this documentary is a one-sided story."

In her statement, Derrick emphasised that she is not a victim and is not being abused. She said, "I am just a woman trying to live my life. I am not a victim, I am not in any harm, I am not being abused. I've never asked my family or anyone else to 'help' me in any way. Respectfully, what I choose to do with my life is up to me."
