Jennifer Lopez is taking time to reevaluate her life following the cancellation of her upcoming tour.

A close source to Lopez informs People that the singer-actress feels "devastated" about canceling her summer concert tour, but recognizes that the extra time allows her to focus on herself and her loved ones.

"Life is a lot right now. As sad as she was to cancel the tour, she’s also relieved. She needs to take care of herself," says the source.

"The decision was something that her team encouraged," the source adds. "Everyone is supportive of her focusing on family right now."

Lopez's upcoming tour, This Is Me... Live, intended to promote her latest album but also revamped to be a greatest hits concert, was scheduled to begin on June 26 in Orlando, Florida.

The tour was planned to include performances in various cities such as Austin, Dallas, Las Vegas, Miami, Toronto, New York City, and Boston. This would have been her first tour since ‘It's My Party Tour’ in 2019.

It was announced, on May 31, by Live Nation that the tour was canceled as the singer was "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," said the ‘On The Floor’ singer in a message to her fans.

"I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," added the singer. "I love you all so much. Until next time."

Lopez and husband, Ben Affleck, were spotted at Sam, their son's basketball game in Los Angeles, June 2, amid divorce rumors.
