Veteran actress Dakota Fanning, gracing the New York City premiere of her new thriller "The Watchers" on June 2, shared valuable advice gleaned from her extensive career for the next generation of child stars. "As long as you love it, you're in the right place," Fanning advised, emphasising the importance of passion for the craft, even when faced with challenging environments like the ominous Irish forest featured in her film.

"The Watchers," a chilling thriller set in the deep woods of Ireland, marks the feature directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of acclaimed filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan. Fanning, who plays the lead role of Mina, a stranded artist seeking refuge in a glass house with enigmatic strangers, was effusive in her praise for the young director.

"She's such a cool person...full of so much energy and life and creativity," Fanning shared. "She had such a vision for what she wanted to do and was also open to collaboration." The actress further lauded Ishana's comforting qualities as a director, emphasising her specific vision and openness to collaborative input.

Ishana, a self-proclaimed fan of Fanning since childhood, reciprocated the admiration, describing her as "one of those actresses that only comes from truth." She emphasised the depth and authenticity Fanning brought to the film, stating that her performance "adds such a depth and texture to the movie."

Fanning's co-stars echoed the sentiment, highlighting her intelligence, professionalism, and focused approach to work. "It was really fun watching her work," shared Georgina Campbell, known for her role in "Barbarian," while Oliver Finnegan noted her pro status and focused demeanour.

"The Watchers," a film rich in suspense and mysterious creatures, promises a captivating experience for audiences when it hits theatres on June 7.
