Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife, Georgina Rodríguez, witnessed her husband's loss in the King Cup of Champions final from the comfort of the VVIP suite at King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Despite Ronaldo's efforts, Al-Nassr suffered defeat to Neymar's Al-Hilal, with the match ending in a tense 1-1 draw and culminating in a 5-4 penalty shootout loss. 

Having joined Al-Nassr in December 2022, Ronaldo's disappointment was evident as he collapsed in despair on the field and continued to sob on the bench, marking the end of his first full season in Saudi Arabia without major silverware, despite his impressive goal-scoring record.

Meanwhile, Georgina shared glimpses of her and her children supporting Ronaldo on Instagram from their lavish suite, capturing moments of joy amid the tension of the match.

However, her post congratulating Al-Nassr on their performance sparked criticism from fans who felt it was insensitive given Ronaldo's evident anguish.

"Girl ur husband is abt to die of tears and ur posting a**,” commented one user, while another wrote, “Cristiano is crying and she is uploading photos… Things Messi’s wife won’t do.” A third commenter remarked, “You don’t even enjoy the game, you just go for the photo.”

The loss came as a bitter disappointment for Al-Nassr, coming just days after finishing second in the Saudi Pro League, with Ronaldo's goal-scoring prowess providing little solace in the face of defeat.
