Gigi and Bella Hadid donate $1 Million to Palestinian relief efforts

Gigi and Bella Hadid have frequently advocated for the Palestinian cause.

Gigi and Bella Hadid, the renowned supermodel sisters, have pledged a combined donation of $1 million to support humanitarian efforts in Palestine amidst Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza.

The funds will be divided equally among four organisations: HEAL Palestine,Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), World Central Kitchen (WCK), and United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

These organisations are dedicated to providing essential aid to Palestinians affected by the war, including food, medical care, psychological services, and support for displaced families.

HEAL Palestine is a non-profit group focused on empowering Palestinian children in Gaza, while PCRF provides free medical care to children in need.

World Central Kitchen, led by chef José Andrés, delivers meals to communities impacted by crises, and UNRWA USA supports humanitarian assistance for Palestine refugees.

The donation announcement follows Bella Hadid's recent statement in Cannes, where she wore a Keffiyeh dress and expressed her support for Palestinians.

Both sisters have used their social media platforms to share their concern for the situation and advocate for humanitarian aid. Gigi Hadid emphasised her "deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle," stating that it is a responsibility she carries daily.
