Gypsy Rose Blanchard, recently released from prison after serving time for her involvement in her mother's murder, is looking towards the future and hopes to start a family with her boyfriend, Ken Urker. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, the 32-year-old expressed her desire to be a mother and believes that Urker would make a wonderful father.

While Blanchard embraces her dreams of motherhood, she's still processing the trauma inflicted by her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who subjected her to years of Munchausen syndrome by proxy abuse. Blanchard is working through her complex emotions in therapy and hopes to forgive both herself and her mother for the tragic events of the past.

In her upcoming Lifetime series, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, Blanchard wants viewers to see her as a relatable human being who has overcome adversity. She aims to be remembered for her resilience and growth rather than the crime she committed.

Blanchard's relationship with Urker has been a source of comfort and support. The couple initially met through a pen pal program while Blanchard was in prison and even got engaged in 2018 before breaking up. After a brief marriage to Ryan Scott Anderson, Blanchard rekindled her romance with Urker and is now taking things slow with him. Although open to the possibility of marriage again, Blanchard is focusing on building a happy and healthy future with Urker.

Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up premieres on Lifetime on Monday, June 3rd, at 9 p.m. ET.
