Diddy to miss daughter’s graduation as legal troubles escalate

The music mogul also recently missed his twins’ prom.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is missing significant milestones in his children's lives as his legal troubles escalate.

This week, Diddy will be absent from his 17-year-old daughter Chance's graduation from Sierra Canyon School in the L.A. area.

Sources close to the Combs family told TMZ, that while other relatives are flying in for the ceremony, Diddy has informed his family he will not attend, though he did not provide a specific reason.

The family speculates that Combs’ absence is related to his ongoing legal issues and his wish to stay out of the public eye, as his presence could potentially create a spectacle that might overshadow Chance's big day.

Some of Chance's half-siblings and members of Kim Porter's family are expected to attend the graduation.

Diddy shares Chance with Sarah Chapman.

Combs also missed another recent event: the prom of his twins, Jessie and D'Lila, who are juniors in high school.

Despite his recent absences, Diddy has historically been an involved parent.

Notably, Combs’ daughters were with him when federal authorities intercepted his private jet in Florida back in March as he was preparing to take them on a Spring Break trip.

Since then, Diddy has stayed mostly in or near his Miami home.

Sources confirmed to TMZ that federal authorities have not restricted Combs’ travel, meaning his absence from these events is by choice, not due to legal restrictions.

With a potential indictment looming, Diddy appears to be trying to shield his children from the ongoing legal drama.
