Fans have been buzzing with excitement after videos of Afrobeats artists Wizkid and Omah Lay in the studio together began circulating online.
The video shows the two Nigerian artists alongside South African record producer and DJ, DJ Maphorisa, in a studio.
Fans are thrilled about the possibility of another collaboration, with one fan on X writing, “I’m the happiest man alive rn,” and another saying, “You guys are not f****** ready for Wizkid and Omah Lay.”
Omah Lay, also known as Omah Didia, has previously shown his support for Wizkid amidst Wizkid’s feud with Nigerian singer and record producer Davido and Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy.
Lay shared a post on his Instagram stories reacting to the conflict which saw Davido call Wizkid "someone whose career was revived only to fade away again."
In his caption Omah Lay wrote: “it’s funny seeing everyone going at everyone. After all this noise, hope your next ish bangs, you feel me?”
Wizkid and Omah Lay have also previously collaborated on the fan-fovourite track “PAMI '' which also features Adekunle Gold.
