Chris Martin gave a 64-year-old fan with arthritis a ride to a Coldplay concert.

Saundra Glenn, a longtime Coldplay fan struggling with osteoarthritis, almost gave up on seeing the band perform at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Luton, England.

However, her day took an incredible turn when Chris Martin himself pulled up in a car and offered her a lift.

She took to X to recount her day with the singer, writing, “That moment when Chris Martin @Coldplay saw me struggling to walk, had his car stop and gave me a lift. Blooming amazing. Can't believe this happened.”

Glenn also mentioned that they had a “nice” conversation, “What a decent bloke ❤️. We had a nice chat too.”

The 64-year-old, overwhelmed by the unexpected kindness, initially hesitated but was reassured by others in the car. In her conversation with Martin during the ride, she even recommended a local restaurant.

Glenn later spoke to BBC about her surprise meeting with Chris Martin.

“The door opens and I said, 'Oh that's Chris Martin, I can't get in with him,'” Glenn shared, adding that the passengers in the car reassured her that she could, “'Yes you can.'”

She also revealed that Martin ensured she would reach her spot at the concert safely, “When we got to the artist area, he didn't leave me there, he said 'get the golf buggy and make sure Saundra reaches her destination.’”
