Yeezy Day: Adidas unloads $1 billion YEEZY stock despite controversy

The German shoemaker quietly drops YEEZY sneakers as fans await Kanye's reaction.

Adidas is set to clear out its remaining YEEZY shoe inventory, worth over $1 billion, following its termination of the partnership with Kanye West in 2022 due to his antisemitic comments.

Over the past year, Adidas has intermittently, albeit quietly, released YEEZY sneakers through sold-out drops.

Despite the controversy, YEEZY sneakers remain popular, particularly in the resale market.

The final highly anticipated restock is scheduled from May 27 to June 13 via the Adidas CONFIRMED app and on the adidas YEEZY website.

The release will include various models like the YEEZY 350 Turtledove and YEEZY BOOST 350v2.

However, some Ye’s fans are still calling for an Adidas boycott.

Others are demanding that Adidas pay Ye a portion of the revenue from the YEEZY sales.

Additionally, some fans suspect a secret partnership between the rapper and the German shoemaker.

Despite the controversy, there is still significant interest in YEEZY shoes as some consumers have complained that certain models quickly sold out.

While others are eager to spend their money on the relatively expensive YEEZY sneakers.

Ye's fans are awaiting his reaction to the YEEZY drop.
