Suspects in firing incident rounded up
RAWALPINDI:
Sixteen people were arrested for their involvement in a firing incident on Saturday night in which four people were killed and five injured.
According to police, the four people murdered in Sadiqabad, including two brothers Ismail and Abdul Rashid, had an old enmity with other families and had been living in Rawalpindi for the past 20 years.
Some worked as labourers while others lived in Tehsil Yake Gand of Mohmand Agency.
Those who lived here used to send money to their family in Mohmand Agency either through someone they knew or themselves, when they secretly visited the agency. The 16 people were arrested from Pirwadahi, Sadiqabad and Dhoke Hassu.
Those arrested did not have connections with the Taliban said SP (Rural Division) Zaraat Kiani.
