Christopher Nolan's acclaimed space epic 'Interstellar' is set to return to theatres in celebration of its 10th anniversary as per the announcement made at CinemaCon 2024. The film, originally released in 2014, captivated audiences with its stunning visuals and compelling story, earning a remarkable $731 million globally.

Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Matt Damon, 'Interstellar' takes viewers on an extraordinary journey through space and time as a group of astronauts search for a new home for humanity. The film's re-release on September 27, 2024, will offer fans the chance to experience it once again on the big screen, in both 70mm Imax (Nolan's preferred format) and digital formats.

Warner Bros., a co-producer of the film, will collaborate with Paramount to bring this revival to fruition. Notably, 'Interstellar' was shot using a combination of 35mm anamorphic film and 65mm Imax, a testament to Nolan's dedication to the film format. His advocacy for 70mm Imax screenings in 2014 led to weeks of sold-out shows, emphasising the immersive experience that format provides.

This re-release not only commemorates the film's 10th anniversary but also allows new audiences to discover this cinematic masterpiece on the big screen. So mark your calendars for September 27, 2024, and prepare for an unforgettable journey back into the depths of space with 'Interstellar.'
