Taylor Swift is gushing over her successful debut concerts in Portugal.

After captivating audiences with two sold-out Eras Tour shows at Lisbon's Estádio da Luz, the pop icon took to social media to express her gratitude to her Portuguese fans.

“It's official, I left my heart in Lisbon,” Swift wrote in a touching Instagram post, accompanied by a collection of photos from the concerts.

“My first time in Portugal and you all made me feel like I was right at home. I'll seriously never forget the way you treated us, the overwhelming love and passion and hands in the air and dancing and how you screamed every lyric!!”

The caption concluded with the star trying her hand at Portuguese, “Muito obrigada 🇵🇹,” a Portuguese phrase meaning “thank you very much.”

Swift's two-night residency at the Estádio da Luz was a whirlwind of surprises. Fans were treated to a performance of ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ title track, delivered in an acoustic mashup with ‘Now That We Don't Talk’ from the vault of 1989 (Taylor's Version).

The emotional connection with the audience went both ways. In a video shared online, Swift delivered a heartfelt speech to the Portuguese crowd, expressing regret for not bringing previous tours to the country.

“There have been moments in this show already where I like, forget what I'm supposed to do next or what I'm supposed to say because I'm just so distracted by how much fun you're having and how you're performing in the audience. I love this,” she shared.

Adding to the magic, one lucky fan, Beatriz Simões, got engaged during Friday night's show! The surprise proposal, captured on video while Swift sang ‘Love Story,’ left Simões speechless.

“It was a total surprise,” she shared with PEOPLE magazine. “I'm still in total shock. It was magical, and everyone was so happy.”
