Piling pressure: JUI-F senator lashes out at Malik
The JUI-F leader is the third politician to have openly criticised the interior minister and his work.
ISLAMABAD:
Senator Talha Mehmood, chairman of Senate Standing Committee on Interior lashed out against Rehman Malik on Tuesday, stating that the ministry of interior was only catering to the agenda of certain foreign powers. The JUI-F leader is the third politician to have openly criticised the interior minister and his work. The committee chairman’s outrage was heightened further by a letter written to his committee by the ministry of interior which desired that only the secretary of the ministry should be asked to appear before the committee on all matters related to it, which was a blatant violation of parliamentary norms.
