Diddy's walk of fame star in the spotlight amid calls for removal
Efforts to strip Diddy's Hollywood Walk of Fame star amid his decline are gaining momentum, but the organization responsible for the honor has not taken any action.
A spokesperson from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce informed TMZ that discussions regarding removal have not occurred, emphasizing the organization's inability to erase stars.
The Chamber clarified its role, stating it can nominate, create, and install stars with city approval, as well as oversee the Walk of Fame installation ceremony, but lacks the authority to revoke stars.
Despite Diddy's denial of allegations, particularly claiming his accusers were motivated by financial gain, this stance was challenged after the emergence of the Cassie video.
Past calls to remove stars, such as those belonging to Bill Cosby and Donald Trump, have been made, with Trump's star enduring repeated vandalism but remaining in place.
This potentially meant that despite facing seven civil lawsuits and a federal criminal investigation, Diddy's star would remain untouched.
