Kidnapping & Rape: Eighth grader abducted from school and raped
“They took me in a car to an unknown place where they raped me,” she said.
BAHAWALPUR:
An eighth grade student was raped on Monday. According to police officials, Samma Satta resident Majeeda, an eighth grade student was allegedly raped by a college student Asghar.
Police officials said that the girl told them she had been abducted on her way home from school. “They took me in a car to an unknown place where they raped me,” she said. Majeeda’s family told police officials that she was at school on Monday and while she was headed home, a BA student, Asghar kidnapped her and drove off to his farm shed. Majeeda’s father Khurram Humayun said that the accused had beaten his daughter brutally and while she was unconscious he left her in the shed. Samma Satta police officials have arrested Asghar and registered FIR No 301/11-376 against the accused. Station House Officer (SHO) Samma Satta said that Majeeda had been admitted to the Khangah Sharif Hospital for treatment and after the MLC report was released and rape was confirmed, police proceeded with the case. According to doctors, Majeeda is in critical condition.
All names have been changed to protect the victim’s identity
