Mystery Cybertruck linked to Kanye West? the real story unveiled
A recent viral post on X, formerly known as Twitter, showcased a shiny black Cybertruck, sparking widespread speculation that it was a new venture from Kanye West’s Yeezy brand.
The video featured the sleek vehicle emerging from a garage and quickly becoming the topic of debate among fans.
Comments ranged from comparisons to tech gadgets to critiques of its design. “Looks like a Sony Blue Ray player,” one viewer quipped, while another asked, “Why is it so wobbly?”
However, the conversation took a swift turn as a community note clarified the vehicle's true origin.
Contrary to the viral misinformation, the truck is not a product of Ye’s Yeezy line nor Elon Musk’s Tesla.
It is, in fact, the Lo-Res Car, a conceptual vehicle designed by the footwear company United Nude.
The car, which sold at auction on October 15, 2021, for $111,111, features a distinctive triangular shape inspired by a low-resolution version of the Lamborghini Countach, crafted from 12 tinted, clear polycarbonate panels on a steel-tube frame, and powered by a 5-kilowatt electric motor.
Despite the mix-up, only four units of the Lo-Res Car were ever produced, primarily for promotional purposes.
It took three years for a video of one to circulate widely enough on social media to be mistakenly linked to the Yeezy brand.
Meanwhile, Ye has not announced any intentions to dive into the automobile industry.
In other news, Ye is steering his entrepreneurial spirit towards new horizons with the upcoming launch of his Yeezy Porn imprint, a move that has already seen significant internal changes within his company.
“His latest business venture takes a more X-rated approach as he’s preparing for the launch of his Yeezy Porn imprint,” reported a close source.
This bold shift has led to the resignation of his company’s chief of staff, who expressed his departure in a letter, highlighting the drastic change in business direction.
