Twenty One Pilots: single version of ‘The Craving’ generates buzz amid ‘Clancy’ album drop
Grammy-winning Twenty One Pilots released ‘The Craving (single version)’ with a music video right before dropping their album Clancy, out today, Friday, May 24.
The music video, directed by longtime collaborator Reel Bear Media, features the duo working on a collaborative art project.
The album, arriving via Fueled by Ramen, features a different version of the track, titled ‘The Craving (Jenna’s version), generating buzz amongst fans online, who are comparing the two tracks.
This summer banger debuted live earlier this month at their sold-out London show at the Electric Ballroom.
‘Clancy’ was originally set for a May 17 release date, but was slightly delayed to May 24.
Fans are already familiar with previously released hits ‘Backside,’ ‘Next Semester,’ and ‘Overcompensate,’ all dominating the Alternative Radio charts.
Twenty One Pilots recently hosted global listening parties with independent record stores, further amping up excitement for Clancy, which marks the final chapter in their ambitious, multi-album narrative.
