Logan Paul calls out TikTok doctor for spreading 'misinformation’

Paul has accused the doctor of spreading Prime 'misinformation' with lawsuit threats.

Logan Paul has accused another TikTok creator of spreading misinformation about his Prime Hydration beverage line and threatened legal action against them.

On May 21, 2024, Logan Paul uploaded a video accusing "carrot-colored Instagram doctor" Daniel Pompa of spreading false claims about Prime Hydration, including a warning that it contains "three times the level" of dangerous forever chemicals.

Logan responded, saying, "Alright, let’s talk about it. After I corrected the TikTok lawyer with facts debunking this crap, I never thought I’d have to do the same to a carrot-colored Instagram doctor."

Logan revealed that Prime had sent Pompa a cease & desist letter, stating, "[We] got him to half-apologize, but in the same video he just doubled down on his bulls**t."

The doctor responded in an apology video, saying, "Hey Logan, don’t shoot the messenger, I was just bringing the message."

Logan threatened legal action, saying, "Don’t worry bro, I’m not gonna shoot you. But, Prime is considering suing you for the millions of dollars of damage you caused to make you file for bankruptcy."

He also added, "Buddy, you don’t know a single thing about what you’re claiming but if I ever wanna overdose on self-tanner or get my back cracked I’m coming straight to you."

A lawsuit filed in 2023 against Logan Paul & KSI's Prime Hydration claims that the drink contains more than the allowed amount of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals,” which can have adverse effects on health.

TikToker TommyTheLawyer was among the first to highlight the lawsuit, prompting Logan to respond with a video calling out Tommy for "lying" about the brand and demanding an apology.

In addition to the "forever chemical" lawsuit, Prime Hydration is facing another class action lawsuit filed on May 9, 2024, for "false advertising," claiming that Prime Energy has more caffeine than advertised.
