Anitta's debut US performance at the Wiltern in Los Angeles was a sold-out success, eagerly awaited by fans.

It was difficult to believe it was her inaugural performance in the US as the Brazilian star flawlessly navigated through a tightly-packed setlist of nearly 30 songs.

According to Variety, on May 22, the singer treated an enthusiastic crowd of Portuguese and Spanish-speaking Anitta fans adorned in the colors of her native flag to an authentic serving of favela funk.

Singers Bella Poarch, Chloe Bailey, and Becky G, along with actor Diego Boneta and other prominent figures from the industry, were present at the historic theater for the inaugural night of the "Baile Funk Experience Tour" in the United States.

Following this, Anitta plans to bring the production to South America and Europe, aiming to recreate the energetic favela funk dance parties of her homeland.

Despite the venue's challenging layout and sound system, dance circles erupted throughout the space as the 31-year-old singer danced and performed her latest album "Funk Generation."

The heated collection of 15 songs embraces Brazilian funk's raw and captivating beats. One standout moment was her performance of the song "Sabana," where the singer wowed the audience with her captivating dance moves.

One memorable scene involved them balancing on their tiptoes, gripping a chain-linked fence, mirroring the set of the music video for Anitta and Bad Gyal’s “Double Team.”

Anitta was remarkably punctual, beginning her set precisely at 9 p.m. and wrapping up promptly at 10:20 p.m. Yet, the atmosphere resembled that of an underground warehouse rave at dawn.

From the minimalistic stage setup to the precision of her choreography, Anitta successfully realized her goal of showcasing the vibrant favela funk culture of Brazil on a worldwide platform.
