Marvel Studios is expanding its television universe with a new series focused on the android superhero, Vision, played by Paul Bettany. The untitled series is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, with Terry Matalas, the showrunner of Star Trek: Picard, at the helm. According to Hollywood Reporter, a writers' room for the series has already begun its work.

This series marks the second spinoff from the popular WandaVision series, following Agatha: All Along, starring Kathryn Hahn as the witch Agatha Harkness. Bettany's Vision has been a key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), appearing in three films and the WandaVision series. The new show will explore Vision's journey after his resurrection with a restored memory at the end of WandaVision.

Matalas, a seasoned writer and producer, brings his experience from Star Trek: Picard and other projects like 12 Monkeys and MacGyver to the Marvel series.

This new Vision series joins a growing lineup of Marvel shows on Disney+, including Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, Eyes of Wakanda, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Marvel is also venturing into live-action series with Noir, starring Nicolas Cage, as part of the Sony Spider-verse, set to premiere on Amazon's Prime Video.
