HBO's critically acclaimed drama series, "Industry," is returning for its third season on August 11th. The new season will be available on both HBO and the streaming platform Max.
The official synopsis teases a captivating storyline centred around ethical investing: "As Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, Yasmin, Robert, and Eric find themselves front and centre in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by Henry Muck (Kit Harington), in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media, and government. Since leaving Pierpoint, Harper is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg)."
Created, written, and executive produced by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, "Industry" continues to explore the cutthroat world of high finance with its signature intensity and intrigue. Joining the returning cast members Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, and Ken Leung is Kit Harington, known for his role as Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones."
The eight-episode season will also introduce several new characters played by Sarah Goldberg, Miriam Petche, Andrew Cavill, Roger Barclay, Fady Elsayed, and Fiona Button.
Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, Ryan Rasmussen, and Rebecca Ferguson are also returning as executive producers for the third season.
Fans can anticipate another thrilling and suspenseful season as the characters navigate the complex world of ethical investing and face the challenges and temptations that come with it.
