On Monday, Ironmouse, a cofounder of VShojo, announced that she has left the agency, stating she is owed outstanding funds and that pledged charity donations were not fulfilled. VTubers and online fans have responded to Ironmouse’s departure from VShojo, reflecting solidarity and criticism towards the agency.

Several VShojo talents, including Michi Mochievee, AmaLee Monarch, Kuro, Froot, Kson, Haruka Karibu, Henya, and Hime, have removed “VShojo” from their X handles.

Michi Mochievee posted on X, “im sorry.. i legally cant say anything yet rn, but im just honestly so tired.. please support mousey… please take care of yourselves”. In response to which fans and VTubers alike expressed support in the comments.

Other current VShojo members posted on X in response to the news:

Geega, who left VShojo in June, posted the Tiltify donation link for the Immune Deficiency Foundation that Ironmouse shared in her announcement video stating, “You know what to do”.

Another ex-VShojo member, Zentreya wrote on X, “My heart hurts for the VSHOJO Community … these have been super confusing months … Support those who you can and please stay strong.”

Indie streamer Shoto (@shxtou) tweeted, “Fun fact, I was contacted for an opportunity to join VShojo back in 2023 and I’m very glad it didn’t go through. Please support Mouse…”.

VTuber and Voice Actor CyYu, in response to Shoto, as well as other Indie Talents reacted to the situation:

On Reddit, several users expressed that Ironmouse’s departure was significant, with one writing, “If Ironmouse of all people is leaving VShojo, then something concerning may be happening behind the scenes.”

Others discussed the importance of agencies maintaining clear communication and accountability in handling funds, particularly those related to charity efforts.

One user on X commented, “Imagine the amount of issues that aren't public,” indicating broader concern about potential undisclosed matters.

VShojo has not publicly addressed these concerns at the time of writing.
