Courteney Cox revealed that she still feels the presence of her late Friends co-star, Matthew Perry after his tragic passing in October last year. During an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, Cox shared that Perry frequently "visits" her.

"You know, he’s just so funny. He has genuinely a huge heart, he obviously struggled," Cox said, reflecting on the 20th anniversary of the hit series’ final episode. “I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot, if we believe in that.”

Perry played Chandler Bing alongside Cox’s character, Monica Geller. The two characters fell in love and got married in the later seasons of Friends. The show's ensemble cast also included Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow, portraying the rest of the close-knit New York City friend group.

Cox also mentioned that she feels guided by other important figures in her life who have passed away. “I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that, I think, guide us,” she said. “I sense Matthew’s around for sure.”

After Perry’s death, Cox posted a heartfelt tribute to her friend, reminiscing about their time together on the series.

“I am so grateful for every moment I had with you, Matty, and I miss you every day,” Cox wrote alongside a clip of Monica and Chandler’s first romantic moment in London. “When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here’s one of my favorites.”

“To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one-night fling in London," she explained. "But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story. In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He often did things like that. He was funny, and he was kind.”
