The end is nigh for Paramount Network's megahit series "Yellowstone," as production has kicked off in Montana for the remaining episodes of its fifth and final season. This follows a hiatus caused by industry-wide strikes and buzz surrounding Kevin Costner's exit due to scheduling conflicts with his "Horizon" film project.
The first eight episodes of Season 5 aired between November 2022 and January 2023, leaving fans on the edge of their seats for the six-episode conclusion slated to debut in November 2024.
While Costner's departure leaves a void in the Dutton family dynamics, the "Yellowstone" universe continues to expand. Paramount has greenlit two new spinoffs: "1944," delving into the Dutton family's past, and "2024," a contemporary series featuring new faces and locations alongside familiar characters.
The creative duo of Taylor Sheridan and John Linson remain at the helm, executive producing alongside a team that includes Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros, and Keith Cox.
