Nina Dobrev's travel bucket list interrupted by motorbike accident
Actress Nina Dobrev is on the road to recovery after a motorbike accident left her with multiple injuries. The "Vampire Diaries" star shared a before-and-after Instagram post on Monday, May 20, showing her first happily posing on a motorbike and then lying in a hospital bed with braces on her neck and leg.
In a follow-up Instagram story, Dobrev reassured fans that she's "OK" but acknowledged the long road ahead. While the full extent of her injuries remains undisclosed, the actress received well wishes from friends and colleagues, including her best friend Julianne Hough and "Vampire Diaries" costar Michael Trevino.
The accident comes days after Dobrev's boyfriend, Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, shared their extensive travel bucket list, which they have been checking off together. White, 37, has yet to comment publicly on Dobrev's accident.
Despite the setback, Dobrev and White's relationship appears to be going strong. They have been dating since 2020 and recently enjoyed trips to Antarctica, Dubai, France, Monaco, and Indonesia. While marriage isn't immediately on the horizon, the couple plans to attend the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris together.
Fans and friends alike are sending their support to Dobrev, hoping for a speedy and full recovery.
