Demi Moore dazzles at Cannes premiere of horror film ‘The Substance’
Hollywood veteran Demi Moore turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday night, entering with actors Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Alessandra Ambrosio for the premiere of her film, ‘The Substance,’ a new body horror film.
Moore, 61, shimmered in a stunning warm silver gown with a protruding arrow. She paired the dress with silver and diamond jewellery.
In ‘The Substance.’ Moore plays a fading movie star who resorts to extreme measures to maintain her youth. The film, directed by Coralie Fargeat, is one of many vying for the prestigious Palme d'Or at Cannes.
Moore stars in the film alongside Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid.
Accompanying Moore at the premiere, Huntington-Whiteley, 37, opted for a sleek black jumpsuit adorned with cascading silver tassels.
Ambrosio, 43, wowed in a form-fitting patterned silver dress.
Both actors were accompanied by their dates, with Ambrosio arriving with film producer Mohammed Al Turki. The couple did not shy away from PDA on the red carpet.
The Cannes Film Festival, established in 1939 as a rival to the Venice Film Festival, is renowned for its rigorous selection process and its history of launching groundbreaking films and filmmakers. Past Palme d'Or winners include ‘Taxi Driver,’ ‘Pulp Fiction,’ and ‘Parasite.’
