Taylor Swift breaks record in Stockholm, Sweden with Eras Tour
Taylor Swift performed her inaugural concert in Stockholm, Sweden, where she announced that her fans had shattered the attendance record at the Friends Arena.
"My mind is absolutely blown for several reasons looking at this crowd tonight," remarked the star.
"First of which is that I have never gotten to play a show in Stockholm before, and my first show looks like this." The crowd erupted and Swift added, "You have made this the highest attended show ever in this stadium."
Swift didn't specify the exact number of attendees, but according to the stadium's website, its concert capacity varies, accommodating up to "60,000 people, depending on position and layout of the stage."
Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was not seen among the audience despite attending her 87th Eras Tour performance in Paris.
The football player is hosting a music festival, Kelce Jam, on Saturday night in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
Swift is scheduled to entertain audiences for three evenings at the Friends Arena before embarking on her journey to Lisbon, Portugal.
