According to Elle, Gomez will be present at the festival's red carpet premiere for her upcoming film "Emilia Pérez" tomorrow. Additionally, she is scheduled to participate in a photocall for the project.

Gomez's most recent appearance at the Cannes Film Festival was in 2019 when she was promoting her film "The Dead Don’t Die".

In March, Gomez expressed her affection for France while promoting her song "Love On".

During the filming of Emilia Pérez, she resided in Paris and shared with Rolling Stone, “I felt like I can be a normal human being there.”

“I fell in love with everything about it and the life that I lived there for two months.”

In the same interview, she discussed her decision to prioritize acting while not completely stepping away from music.

Gomez mentioned, “I think it’s natural for people to take breaks, but I think for me, there is a whole other aspect to my life, pride and joy.”

“I love film. I love TV. I just feel like I haven’t done a lot of the things that I want to do in that space. It’s not that it’s ‘no, never’ [to music], it’s more that I would like to explore that world a bit more and have the time to actually do that.”
