NA speaker authorised to nominate committees’ members
Motion says that speaker is authorised to nominate members based on recommendations from parliamentary party heads.

ISLAMABAD:
The National Assembly on Friday passed a motion authorising Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to nominate members for the Standing Committees.
The motion, moved by Syed Naveed Qamar, said that the speaker is authorised to nominate members based on the recommendations from parliamentary party heads.
Additionally, the motion empowered the speaker to make any change to the composition of the standing committees as per the requirement.

Also, the National Assembly passed a motion authorising Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to constitute parliamentary friendship groups to promote friendly relations with the assemblies of other countries.
