McFarr's mother, Donna, confirmed the unexpected nature of his passing to TMZ, though the exact cause remains unknown. Besides his work with Pratt, McFarr contributed his talents to other major films like "Ant-Man and the Wasp," "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle," and "Captain America: Civil War."

Pratt's tribute to McFarr coincides with his recent remarks on the differences between parenting his son and daughters, highlighting his close bond with his children and the distinct challenges and joys each brings.
