Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey confirms lead role in new Jurassic World film

He revealed on The Tonight Show that he will be leading the next Jurassic World film.

His announcement follows a playful Instagram post of himself riding the Jurassic World attraction at Universal Studios, hinting at his involvement in the franchise.

Bailey recounted his experience on the ride during a private tour, admitting his obsession with the attraction. He even shared a photo with the tour guide, leaving a cryptic message on the back: "Just keep this. It's a memory." The actor confessed to sitting on the secret for over a month, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension, as the role brings to life his childhood nightmares inspired by the original Jurassic Park.

The new film, directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: a Star Wars Story, Godzilla), is slated for release in 2025 and is expected to feature Scarlett Johansson alongside Bailey. It will be a new instalment within the Jurassic World universe, separate from the previous trilogy starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. With Bailey's charisma and talent, this latest addition to the beloved franchise promises a thrilling new chapter in the dinosaur-filled world.
