Billy Baldwin and Chynna Phillips list their Santa Barbara retreat for $3.9 Million

Celebrity couple lists renovated Craftsman-style home in Mission Canyon.

A little more than three years after acquiring a serene hideaway in Santa Barbara's Mission Canyon for $2.9 million, actor Billy Baldwin and his wife, Chynna Phillips, singer of Wilson Phillips, are putting their property on the market.

The couple, who faced financial hardships in 2018, has set the listing price just shy of $3.9 million, marking nearly a million-dollar increase from their purchase price.

The private estate is discreetly positioned at the end of a long shared driveway, enclosed by gates, and in close proximity to Rocky Nook Park and the Santa Barbara Mission.

The property, originally built in the late 1940s and substantially remodeled by Baldwin and Phillips, spans half an acre and features park-like surroundings dotted with mature oaks, vibrant gardens, and winding pathways.

The main residence and a separate guest house together offer five bedrooms and four bathrooms across approximately 3,000 square feet of living space.

The home’s interior boasts a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a custom space for a TV, and French doors that open to a covered terrace perfect for outdoor dining.

The dining room is enhanced with built-in shelving and cabinetry, including a wine storage area, and leads into a kitchen adorned with quartz countertops, a farmhouse sink, a center island, top-tier stainless appliances, and a spacious walk-in pantry.

Outside, the landscaped grounds are equipped with a pergola and fire pit, a quaint sauna-equipped “she shed,” and a two-bedroom guesthouse complete with its own living area, kitchen, and bathroom, all adjoined to a two-car garage bordered by a large motor court.
