Whitney Alford, fiance and longtime partner to rapper Kendrick Lamar, finally broke her social media silence on Mother's Day.

The public scrutiny of Lamar and Alford's relationship intensified after Drake's diss tracks “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6” cast doubt on their engagement, living situation, and even on who is the real father of Lamar's children.

While Lamar, known for his media privacy, has remained silent, fans eagerly awaited Alford's perspective.

On May 12, she posted a video on her Instagram story showcasing pottery making, with the caption “Happy birthday to me. Happy Mother's Day to all my real ones,” choosing not to address the beef between Drake and her fiance.

Notably, the location tag indicated a Los Angeles studio, seemingly contradicting Drake's claims about Lamar's relocation.

Though Alford offered no direct response to the allegations, her choice to celebrate amidst the online drama was interpreted by some fans as her being unbothered by the drama.
